Thai athletes and officials have complained about several issues while the Indonesians staged a walkout during a sepak takraw match to protest what they believed to be biased officiating. Shortly after arriving in Kuala Lumpur last week, some Thai athletes complained that the restaurant at their hotel did not serve rice. Thai athletes in other sports have also complained about transportation. Meanwhile, a bus carrying the Thai squash team to the competition venue was hit by a bus carrying Myanmar athletes. Fortunately, only a couple of Thai athletes suffered glancing injuries in the incident.
